Holiday Mode – How to Take a Break Without Missing a Beat

Go to Config → Holiday Mode in your seller dashboard.

Holiday Mode allows you to pause your store while you’re away, whether it’s for a short break, a weekend off, or a longer holiday. You can set an end date, display a custom message to shoppers, and even choose whether to keep accepting orders during your time away.

Enable Holiday Mode

  • Tick the checkbox to activate Holiday Mode.
  • Enter your expected holiday end date.
  • Write an announcement message letting customers know you’re currently away and when orders will resume.
  • Example: “We’re currently away until 31st October. We will be accepting orders as soon as we return. Thank you for your patience!”

Accept Orders While Away (Optional)

  • You can still receive orders during your holiday by checking the Accept orders when in holiday mode option.
  • When this is enabled, our system will automatically extend your dispatch and expected delivery window to match your return date, so customers know when to expect their items.

💡 Tip: Add an extra 1–2 days beyond your return date to allow for catching up on pending orders once you’re back.

Automatic Deactivation

  • Your Holiday Mode will Automatically disable on the end date, your shop will reopen on the date you’ve set, no need to manually switch it off.

🛍️ What Shoppers See

When Holiday Mode is active:

  • Your announcement message is clearly displayed on your shop and product pages.
  • If you’re accepting orders, buyers will see updated delivery estimates that factor in your return date.
  • If you’re not accepting orders, shoppers will be informed that your shop is temporarily closed.

✅ Best Practice

Before activating Holiday Mode:

  • Complete and dispatch any outstanding orders.
  • Update your announcement message with accurate return dates.
  • Double-check that your contact email and expected return date are correct.

By using Holiday Mode, you can step away with peace of mind, knowing your customers are fully informed and your shop will automatically resume when you’re ready.
